This project developed models, tools and practices for sustainable and competitive tourism.
In particular, the regional and local policy makers M&C tourist destinations were introduced to the MED M&C Tourism Management Model and the Policy recommendations that aim to better define a common framework for sustainable tourism development. On this occasion, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed by several destinations that committed themselves for the implementation of the integrated MED M&C tourism management model.
