In the beginning of 2020, Göteborg & Co embarked on a curious journey together with Group NAO to explore some of the most inspirational ideas for better tourism in cities around the world. The work we have done throughout the year has now resulted in a catalogue with 101 sustainable ideas for better tourism. And we believe this is more vital than ever now. The 101 ideas of this catalogue are not ours to begin with – they are the ideas of social entrepreneurs, innovative business founders, visionary codebreakers and imaginary doers driven by a strong sense of making a difference.
The Center for Responsible Travel (CREST), in cooperation with UN Environment, has compiled this resource packet as part of our commitment to supporting the UN’s 2017 International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development (IY2017). BlueInvest, enabled by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund, aims to boost innovation and investment in sustainable technologies for the blue economy, by supporting readiness and access to finance for early-stage businesses, small and medium enterprises and scale-ups. Resources and tools include training programs, coaching opportunities, key research findings and information on grants and fundraising.

The CTO’s mission is to provide to and through its members, the services and information needed for the development of sustainable tourism for the economic and social benefit of the Caribbean people. The CTO resource page provides tools and resources for Caribbean destinations, businesses and communities; topics include COVID-19, community-based tourism, climate change, disaster management, conference papers, education and training, scholarships & grants, zika virus, etc.

Data Access – DCRM’s projects and ongoing monitoring programs result in a large quantity of data. In an effort to share and distribute this information, DCRM has developed an Open Data Portal. This portal currently serves spatial data related to a variety of projects.
